After reading only a handful of the entries posted here on bs.net, I feel more than compelled to submit one myself. Words cannot begin to describe the effect that yourself and your music has had on my life, and I want to start by thanking you for this. I am ecstatic that you are now out of rehab, and are well on the road to recovery--I thank God, as my prayers have been answered. It is doubtful that you will ever get to read this, but my feeble attempt to convey my support for you is nowhere near as moving, and touching as some of the stuff I have read, so that is OK! You truley mean the world to me, and it goes without saying that you guys are the best band in the universe--untouchable! The support from all of your fans (the world over) during this difficult time has proved, once again, that "No One Else Comes Close", and that you can always count on us to be KeepingTBPA--eternally! Alex, you are the bravest, most corageous, most awe inspiring man that I have ever had the pleasure to know (of), and your impact on my life is unquestionnably amazing--you can make me laugh, cry, and there's no question that you are responsible for making the past few years of my life the most enjoyable by far! At this time, you have completed your stay in the rehabilitation center and you are now getting your life back on track. I can't imagine the pain you have been through, but I know that there has been a lot of love as well. You have so much support behind you. All over the world there are people who want nothing but the best for you. I'm one of those people. I'm just a face in the crowd of those who are proud to be your fan.
I know you never really liked the idea of being a role model, but when you show the world that you can do the right thing, it is a little hard to avoid the love and respect = ).
Chances are high that you will not read this, so I'm just going to send out good thoughts. So that when you rest your head at night it will be with the relief that the hardest times are over, and that you don't have to feel alone in a crowded room. In all the soul searching that you've been doing, I hope you wont lose that fire about you that I love. The spark of life that makes you who you are. There is nothing you could do outwardly that can change the beautiful person I see inside.
God bless you Alex. You have done so much in my life. I wish there was something I could do for you that could measure up to all you have taught me about myself and the world around me. You're strong, and I know this will only make you stronger.

Footprints on the sand
“One night, I had a dream. I dreamed that I was walking on the beach with The Lord. And through the sky passed scenes of my life. For each scene that passed, I saw that two pairs of footprints were left on the sand. One was mine, and the other, of The Lord. When the last scene of my life passed in front of us, I looked back, saw the footprints and realized that lot of times on the way of my life there was just one pair of footprints on the sand. I also realized that this fact hapenned on the most dificult moment of my life. This made me feel sad. So I askded:
- My Lord, you told me that one time that I decided to follow you, you will always walk with me. Anywhere. But I saw that during the biggest problems of my life there was on the sand of my life’s way just one pair of footprints. I didn’t understand why on the moments that I need you the most you wasn’t there.
So God answered me:
- My dear son, I love you, and I would never let you alone on your hardest times. When you saw on the sand just one pair of footprints, was exactly the moment that I carried you in my arms.”
