Hello A.J. and bandmates.
I think what you have admitted was very brave. You had a problem and you talked about it. But you talked about it with the best friends you could ever have the backstreet Boys and us the fans. I'm all the way from Ireland and I want to tell you that you have all the support from Europe as well. It must be very hard for you at this time, being away from the guys and of course not performing. But I know you will be back and better than ever. This will make all of you stronger as a band. I know what it is like to loose a loved one I had all my grand parents, but within a year and a half they were all gone that was hard. I also lost my uncle to cancer whom I was very close he was only in his fifties.
A.J. I know you can get through this, all of you individually have had problems in the band and it only made yee stronger. I know you will be back.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi AJ.
i just wanted to tell you how much respect i have for you. You must be under so much pressure from all the work you do and i really admire you. i know that you'll be able to pull through this with the help of your family and Nick, Howie, Kevin and Brian. All of your fans surport you and can't wait to see you back on the road. Your an essential part of the Backstreet Boys so me, along with all of my mates, can't wait to see you over in the UK again!

I'm sorry to hear about the fall you've taken. I just wanted to say that no matter how long or how short it takes to get better, your fans will always be here. I send my love and support. I just wanted to let you know that I am so proud that you are seeking help. I know from experience that it's hard asking for help even when you know that you are in to deep. You'll see, you will come back stronger than ever and feel 100% better afterwards. Just put a smile on your face and try and get better. That's all you need to concentrate on. Luv ya Man!

AJ: I hope your mom brings these messages to you in the hospital. I have NEVER read such touching testimonies. Your fans love you so much, and it's not a self-righteous love, or a "you-have-to-be-perfect" love. It's genuine. We sincerely love you and want the best for you. I swear that I have tears in my eyes as I write these words on the computer. My daughter just went through what you're going through. (She's doing very well, by the way, because SHE knows she is loved, too.) Ironically, she's an alternative rock fan (musically), but the one major exception to this taste of hers is BSB. She loves you guys, and she is crazy about you AJ. Your sensitivity, your unique attitude towards life, your enormous talent in singing and dancing, your warm personality, the way you joke around with your four BROTHERS. A.J., we're all standing behind you so don't you worry about falling. If you want to get better, and you do since you took that first step, you WILL get better. Nothing happens overnight so don't rush. Just take baby steps and you'll get where you need to be. Don't you hate cliches? I can't think of anything that hasn't been said to you before. I care about you and I'm praying for you. Just know that you have my respect and support and that of countless others. Take care of yourself, now and always.

As someone who has lost their father in the last year, i know and understand what you are going thru. I also suffer from depression and was strong enuf to realize that i needed help too.
After years of therapy and working with different medications, i am the happy and content person i used to be....it's a long hard road,...but you can do it. You have your wonderful Mother, your "brothers", and all your loyal fans here to support you.
I am praying for you and am wishing you the best of luck.
