We need help, no matter how strong and independent we are. The first step for help is, admit that you need help. And that's what you did, and what makes me proud of you! I know it's hard, 'cause I was un drugs. I thought I could handle it myself, but I couldn't and that I admitted. I'm only 14 years old, but I know how you feel and I know how hard it is. Just remember that there are always people who care about you, who wanna help you and who believe in you. The reason I'm writing here....well, I just wanted AJ to know that the BSB fans are supporting him all the way and that we hope he'll soon feel better. Backstreet Boys are the coolest band in the world and I respect them for sharing their problems with their fans..I mean, they could easily have covered it up but they didn't.I love them, man! I pray for him every night an I know that he will come through all of this. All of us fans can't wait til he's out of rehab, but if he needs the time then he should take it because we'd rather AJ feel a whole lot better than what he already does. You're like my idol. I don't want to sound like a crazed fan or anything but all my friends and stuff make fun of me for idolizing you so much. Anyway, I'm not gay or anything like that (trust me, i like the women just as much as you do) but I just want to let you know how much of a role model you are to me. It takes a lot for someone to admit that they have a problem, and to get help. For someone famous to do this, would be even harder. It probably would have been easier to just hide your problem from the public and make up some excuse. But instead, you came out and told the truth, and that takes a lot. To come out and be able to admit your problem, and not be embarrassed about it, is so hard to do. I know so many people who have drinking problems, and they admit it. But they don't have enough guts to get help. You do. And that makes you so great. You will never lose me as a fan because I think what you did was great; to get help. This just proves that no everybody's perfect, even famous people. Everybody has problems, and everyone deals with things in their own way. Just because you dealt with your problems in this way, does not make you a bad person. It took so much for you to come forth. I "loved" you before, and now I love you even more because of this.
