I heard about your fabulous choice to get help a few days late because I wasn't home for a while, but never the less...my tears and prayers to God go out to you. May He be your source of strength during this time in your life. Remember AJ, what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. Aj,
this is my 2nd one! i luv u guys so much, your music has helped me ALOT! ya'll have the most beautiful voices i've ever heard. your music has inspired me and and my friend to start writing lyrics for songs. i know you have no idea what-so-ever who i am but bsb has made a major impact on my life for like 4 and a half years. i think it is so amazing for 5 guys to touch millions of hearts all over the world. anyway, aj, i know u can make it through this. it's just another one of life's obstacles that you'll get through. i've lived for 15 years and life has already given me many, many obstacles that have made me go through depression. i haven't completely gotten over it, it's been about 4 years now. depression just really sux. i can't say i know what u are going through cause i don't, but i just want you to take as long as it takes you to get over this. u need to stay healthy. especially for the rest of bsb, especially for nick(j/k) well, hope all goes well for u!

you are in my prayers i will always remember the night you made my dream come true for the rest of my life!(by singing a song to me in atlanta) I want to tell you that actually its completly natural for you to feel the way you do,my dad just passed away and i can relate,! i think if maybe you and the boys need the time off and its well deserved. Well i don't really know what to say so i'll just say whatever comes up in my mind. I'm supporting you 100%! I'm really proud of you for admitting that you had a problem and wanting to get help for it. I'm really glad that you didn't hide this from your fans, a lot of people would. Your fans support you! Dear A.j I just want to let you know that as an older fan I think your great and I`m very proud of the steps you have taken to get the help that you need. Your honesty and that of the rest of the guys is wonderful not only have you showen younger fans that your a normaly everyday guy with problems like everyone else you have showen them to face there problems and be honest about them. I hope you will speak about your expeirance in rehab when you get out and feel better I think you could help alot of people that way.I read that you are haveing a problem with anxiety I know how that feels I delt with that when my father and grandmother passed away all in one month I would not with anxiety on my worst enemy but I want you to know that you can overcome it you can self teach yourself to talk yourself out of that terible feeling it takes some hard work but I know you can do it and I know you can overcome all your other obstacles. well I`m not a great writter as you can see but I think I said what i need oh ther is one more thing A.J please try and take care of and Love yourself as much as we all Love You!!!! Hi A.J., I know that you probably not gonna read this or if you do i want you to know, or probably get fans that are really crazy(but we are crazy everyway). Well I would like to say I hope you get better and you have done the right thing. I know how you feel. I have lost all my grandparents in a year. It was hard, and just remember this that the love ones that have past aways will always be there to listen, and waiting for your time to go to be with them. Hey Aj! i'm incredibly sorry to hear what has happened.
i dont really know what to say, so i'll just say what comes to me. I wanted to give you some sort of support, (which u have, i am behind you 200%) and i know you are worried what other people are gonna think about you, but in all honesty, who bloody well cares what other people think, and i dont think you do! I admire that you told people, rather than making up some bull****(not gonna swear incase little people read this)story like some other people would've. You have people looking up to you every single day that you have been in this band, and well, proberly will until the day that you die(hopefully not anytime soon!! actualy, never is even better) and the fact that you beared your problem, or actually, more of a set back, to the entire world, makes people love you more. I know i love you more. wait, i should re-phrase that I know that i only know "AJ, the image, the Backstreet boy", but hearing all this, and you telling people the truth and wanting to help people who are in the same sort of situation, makes me want to get to know "AJ, the man, the real person". You, and the rest of the fella's are an inspiration to me, it is my dream to be doing what you are doing, making music and haveing everyone hear it. You guys make me want to do it more and more everyday. But now YOU, mister McLean, make me want to be a better person.

It's always been your song. Umm...so yeah. I'm not some obsessed crazed fan, i'm a normal fan, who loves your music. Your music substance and soul to it, it's different to all this other crap thats out by different bands who can't even play instruments or even sing half decent.
AJ, i wish you the best, in what ever that you do for the rest of your life. And know that you have half of the worlds teenage population's support (thats a scary thought huh!). All of the fella's do! I dont think that you have any idea of how you touch peoples lives. I want you to know something: You guys SAVED MY LIFE. I had decided to commit suicide, selfish and stupid i know, i realise that now. But then, it seemed like the only thing to do. I was listening to Millennium, and 'Show me the Meaning' came on. I just sat there and listen, and your song made me not do it. You, and the others saved my life. And YOU, AJ Mclean, are saving, have saved and will save lives, because you had the balls to get help.
