I honestly can't put into words how saddened i was when i heard the news that you had entered rehab for depression and alcohol abuse. A few years ago i dealt with depression myself. Although it was not because of a death of a family memeber, or previous things which had occured in my life, i nonetheless still dealt with it. When i was depressed i dealt with several insecurities and no self-esteem regarding myself. I felt like i had no one in the world because i had almost no friends, and i felt i had no one to turn to. I even thought i would be better off dead. However, when i was sad, you, the rest of the backstreet boys and your music were my compainions. It brought my spirts up and helped me realize it was not the end of the world, you and your music truely inspired me to get help and open up. Today, almost three years later i have more self-esteem than i ever had. I have also opened up and i now have several close friends, and i've never been happier in my life. However, i will not say i know how you feel because i can't possibly imagine what you are going through and how much pain you are in, so i'm not going to say i know how you feel because i i can't possibly know. However, i know the band and especially you have dealt with several trauma's and tradagies through out your lives and have gotten through them. I know you are one strong man and you will get through this, and see there is light at the end of the tunnel. Also, as one of your longtime, loyal fans i pray for you, and i can't wait to see you be happy again, you have truly inspired me. Never, ever give up hope, you will get better and become stronger because of it. Be strong, and you will heal yourself.
