Get well quicky! We need to see you happy again, the boys are so sad... specially Nick, he is too worried about you just like we are.

Even though I don't actually "know" you, I feel proud of you and the other guys for taking
this step and not denying the facts. That alone proves the critics wrong- the Backstreet Boys
are NOT some flaky fad with no backbone. You are strong and not ready to give up.
Have faith in yourself- and NEVER lose that. I, along with so many others will always
support you and the guys-no matter what happens. Your music has helped bring me
through many bad times (and added even more to the good), and I don't think
I would be the person I am today if I couldn't come home and put on one of your CDs.
You, the group, and the music mean that much to me. You WILL make it through this.

Thank you for getting help! I bet it was hard telling the boys that you had a problem and that you needed help. My thoughts and hart are with you now and allways. All of my friends know that I love Aj and when they hered the news on tv or the on the internet they all called and told me the bad news. We are all counting on you aj to get better and we all know you can. You can do it because your doing it for Nick, Brian, Kevin, Howie, your fans, family, friends and the biggest part for yourself. Dear AJ,
I'm not going to try and say I know what you're going through because I have absolutely no idea. All I can offer you is undying support. I hold a special place in my heart for you, as well as the rest of the guys, because you have done so much for me. I respect and admire you guys almost as much as my own parents. You have surpassed the odds and lived your dreams. Apparently, not without cost. I have complete faith in your recovery and in you. I know I'm speaking for millions everywhere when I say you have the persistent support of your fans. We all owe so much to you guys and can only offer our love as payment. I'd dare to make more mistakes next time.

Dear Aj, i would first like to say that i am so proud of you for taking the first and most courageous step to recovery. I know that with faith in God, and support from your family, friends and fans that you can overcome any obsticle. You are a strong person and I know that after you recover that you will use your experience and help other people. I know that so many people are praying for you and are thinking about you all the time, and I am one of those people, so just remember that you have all of us fans on your side! Keep your faith in God and i know that you can do it!! And even if 30 days isn't enough I will wait for you to get better!! So just take your time and do it right! Dearest A.J.,It's been a week, but the sting, which is very slowly becoming a dull ache that brings with it heartsickness, is still here. Through this sad realization, however, has come the most generous and loving outpouring of concern and support that I've seen in a long time. Already, in faith, we see something positive, as we stand unified for a common cause and a most beloved individual.
When the news broke last Monday, there was a gigantic sob heard 'round the world. (When a TRL audience becomes sullen and quiet, you KNOW it's serious!) Well, that's how it was then. Struggling with their own emotions, your four brothers, who love you so much, came before us and made what has to be the most difficult announcement since the formation of this group. One of their own is in trouble, and they fought back tears and faltering voices to be honest about it so we could hear it directly from them. It is, after all, the BACKSTREET way!! I really don't know how to express the admiration I feel for you and for them! I love you all for many things; but THIS has verified your strength of character and moral fiber - and now the world knows what I've known all along!! :=D
I remain amazed at how people rally in force around a fallen angel in our midst; it's a beautiful thing to see! YOU, MY SWEET, ARE LOVED AND ADMIRED SO INCREDIBLY MUCH!!! Please know and hold on to that fact.
Your mom has said publicly that she has informed you of all the positive messages, prayers, and expressions of support. But had you not been told about it, my heart is convinced that you would have to FEEL it, merely by its powerful existence!! Denise also offered us comfort in saying that you sounded relieved and safe where you are; that she's very proud of you for being so courageous in facing this on your own; and that she hoped to be seeing you this weekend. I hope that has come to pass. The strong, loving bond the two of you share is no secret to anyone. It's a lovely relationship you have together, a true gift from God, an inspiration!
We, your fans, your friends, consider this message board and many others like it blessings. To be able to reach you in this way is a great consolation to us. It is my sincere wish that the words of genuine affection being sent your way will touch you and provide a system of strength that will help you in your recovery.

A.J., honey us true fans will stick with you through thick and thin, good times and bad times. You have 100% of our love and support. I myself have suffered with depression and anxiety since 1994, I managed to get some treatment and for the most part my life is good, but it never goes away compleatly. In 1994, when I first went down with the illness I had a really BAD 4 months, I really thought I was losing my head, and a song called "I'll Stand By You" by the Pretenders was in the charts...I love the song to this day because the words meant so much to me.
