AJ,
I was shocked when i heard the news about you going into rehab, and not as shocked when I found out about Nick's hand. LOL. Anyway, i really want you to get better soon because "Get Another Boyfriend","Everybody", and every other song is just not the same without your sexy voice and moves. I should know I've seen the Balck and Blue tour 2 times in 5 months. i undertand what you are going thought and i know that it will be hard for a long time. But it will be ok. She is not gone she is in your heart she always will be. She is looking over you and waching you get better. Well i wanted to tell you that I am proud of you for getting the help you need and i am not mad at you i respct you in everyway for getting help. B/c think about it not everyone has the guts to say i have to get help

When I heard about the whole re-hab thing I got a little scared. I am so worried about u! I am sending you a bunch of good thoughts and wishes! I wish I could be there with you but obviously I can't! :)! I love you so much and I hope you feel better soon! I'm so glad you feel safe! Hello AJ!I´d like to tell you my own story. It´s a long and sad. I´ve been very depressed for many years. Last winter I tried a suicide. I almost died. But God is Love and He loves each everyone of us. He helped me and I didn´t die. I´m still little depressed and I´ve problems with eating but now I see things differently. Remember AJ, that this life is only a short moment. This world is not a paradise,but we´ve got to survive. Take each day at the time. Someday the sun will shine again. Enjoy all those small things. And remember you are not the only one. If I´ve survived in this life, you will survive too. Just take tour time. Sooner or later you´ll realize that the pain is gone. «These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.» Some day we´ll be in another place. We just have to be strong in this world. AJ -I send my prayers to you, your family, the Backstreet members and the fans. I only hope that you get well and come back when you are ready and stronger. Believe me when I say that eveyone is swallowing this not too easily - but we are. We understand, so you are not alone. It's a tough ordeal to deal with. I have the confidence in you that you will not let yourself down and you will beat those bad desires. It's a tough battle - yet I know your capabilities. You can do this. My best advice for you is for you to turn to God. Let Him take care of you. He saved my Grandma who had the same troubles. He can save anyone as long as you allow Him into your heart. To AJ:
After all the help that you have unknowingly given to me and thousands of loving fans like me, I sit here and wonder if there is something I could give you that could help give you the strength to fight all the demons and sad feelings that are running around wildly inside you.
Maybe something I could say, something full of so much strength and wisdom that you could take it within you and use it like a knights shining sword to slay them and keep them at bay.
Something that would always be there for you when you needed it and you could use for the rest of your life.
Something that was one of the most important things anyone ever gave you. Something that you could go to whenever you feel the demons winnning again and just need a boost of love and encouragement to help get you through yet another long hard night.
Something to help you find the answers to the questions on how you can survive the pains of growing up. Something to help guide you around all the obstacles of everyday life that God has bestowed upon us so he can teach us how to be better people.
Something that when you wonder what in the hell you were put on this earth for, it would be there with all the answers. Something very special and everytime you looked at it you would think, "Someday I must thank Deb for giving this to me as it really has made my life better!"
Something that ...oh .. I just had a sad thought..I bet you already have such a something, maybe you forgot you had one, maybe you misplaced it, but please, let me know, because if you don't and I will go out and buy you the best there is.
It is called 'The Bible'.
But this still leaves me with wondering what that something special is that I could give you.
I just have to give you something. I mean you have given me and others the joy of being able to listen to your beautiiful voice, the gift God hath bestowed upon you so that you could help me and others like me get through our own saddness and demons that dwell inside us.
The voice that thrusts itself through our chest and wraps around our aching hearts like a warm blanket of inspiration and love everytime we need it. It is always there, the wonderful voice that you have been so nice to share with us, to try to help us get through our boring humdrum lives. So I have to find something to repay you for everytime you have unknowingly helped one of us get through just one more long hard night.
Oh, but wait, ... I know...its something I use all the time that is just as wonderful and great as 'The Bible' and the two really should be used together.
What is it you wonder?
It is a prayer.
I will say a prayer for you... just for you, my friend.
I will pray to God that you find the the happiness that you have helped given to so many when they were so full of sadness that they just didn't know if they could face another day.
I will pray to God that you will find the strength that you have helped given others when they were at the end of their rope. The strength to go on and climb back up to a world full of so much hate and resentment that it just makes you question why one should even try to go on.
I will pray to God that you will find the answer to this question through love, like the love that so many feel when they hear you sing or when they just see you up there on the very high pedestal that we like to keep you up on.
But do not be afraid to be up there.
It really is to make you feel honored and appreciated, because we like to think of you, and the other BSB, as superhuman idols.
But, in all reality we know that you are just human, like us, and will make mistakes and fall, just like us who make so many mistakes.
But do not worry, with Gods help we will catch you and help you climb back up to the top again with all our love and prayers and the words from a very simple book,
'The Bible'.
You and the other BSB will always have my love and prayers for all you do.
