Aj,Isend my best wishes and prayers to you,your family,and the boys.I can't say that i know exactly what you are going through but i can tell you that i am going through a rough time too.I have cancer and luckily it can be surgically removed.I actually got the surgury but it spread to lungs and i am unfourtunatley going to need another surgury in San Francisco(and miss the first week of school!)When they did surgury on me..they accidently cut my vocal cord and i feel like i have no hope of ever getting to sing Backstreet Boys songs ever again or be in choir anymore.I think of you guys all the time and it gives me hope.My first word when i got out of surgury was Backstreet Boys and my last word was Nick Carter.I am so proud to say your name or listen to your music and say that you are my favorite band and I am pround of you for noticing a problem and getting it fixed.I love you guys with all my heart and I support you with all the faith that I have and I know that you will kick butt on stage again...and I will think about you when I go into my next surgury..I love you,Ashley

I just wanted to let you know that I was shocked when I heard about what had happened to you. Although you are doing things that aren't very good, I am still very proud of you for realizing that you have a problem. I know that you, and the guys, can get through this, and come out stronger than before. I don't think that any of your fans could have even dreamed that something like this could happen. Well, it did, and I would like to say that we are all praying for you. We believe in you.
I just saw you the other day on July 3rd in Camden, NJ. You guys were awesome. I wasn't sure what to think when I heard this disturbing news. I wasn't sure whether to be happy that you got help after my concert, or be sad because you could have been hurt. I feel really sad for those people whose concert was canceled due to this, but I am glad that you had enough guts to admit something like this. It also took brains to realize that you could be seriously injured if you didn't get help. I know that this is a very emotional time for everyone and that it will be hard to go back into your old way of life knowing that the whole world knows about your problem. It’s 7:11 p.m. Here & I didn’t sleep for more than 29 hours since I’ve heard what happened to you Alexander James Mclean. I think if you read your fans’ mail that will make you much better, because that makes you feel how important you are for millions of people & makes you feel that you have to become better because they are waiting for you.
You know I'm studying medicine, but still a small Dr. my 1st year, my sister is a Dr. & she likes you so much, when we heard about your case, I asked my sister, but she told me that your case is an easy case to deal with, if u follow the treatment. That what made me calm down, I thought it like wow, my A.J. Is sick, no way, u know when a man becomes an artist every 1 thinks that he or she should be perfect, BUT GOD IS THE PERFECT, I Admit you have multimillions of fans are waiting for you, but you know what makes me feel special that I’m not a western Girl & what makes me feel different that I’m the biggest fan you have ever had in the Gulf countries.
My Name is Zain, I’m 18, studying medicine, & I really like your style but most important your personality, you got a cool character, you do what you want to do, no matter what, but if you want, so it will be done any way. Do you know here in my country which is Saudi Arabia, people don’t like western songs that much.
