I am Antonette representing the Backstreet Babes (since 1996) from Manila, Philippines. Anyways...my friends and I are to promote the album by sending out flyers to people in the malls and sticking flyers in the windshield of parked cars everywhere. Ofcourse, we'd be wearing black and blue stuff for fun. Coz that's gonna catch attention. We are also calling all radio stations and go on the air and greet our friends and ending the call with, "What is the significance of the colors Black and Blue? Wanna know? Go to your favorite record store on the 21st of November this year." Also...I am looking for fans from the Philippines. Especially the ones from the Manila area. Please keep in touch with me ASAP. Coz we are planning to gather as much as possible all the BSB fans from Manila and like, we buy the album altogether on November 21 (probably in Tower Records, Makati). If you're buying multiple copies of Black & Blue the first week, haul @ss to your nearest Best Buy--they sell most CDs for around thirteen bucks. If you go to WalMart or some other store instead, you'll have to pay 18 dollars or more for each copy. I'm in a choir and I had a concert last weekend, we had to go with black pants and color shirts,half of the choir went with blue shirts. Most of us are all ready gonna be wearing Black and Blue on Nov. 21st. That's one thing. I like the idea of the flyers. That's pretty good! I have a great idea! I don't know if most of you are old enough to remeber it, but do you remember Hands Across America? I think that's what it was called. It's where everyone got on the streets of America and sang the song by Bandaid. (Bandaid was a colaberation of many artist in the 80's. It's like, the Brovo All Stars. Backstreet was involved in.) I think that would be just cool if we did something like that. We'd have to mark out a map and set a time to gather. but we could go out and sing, um...SOMH. That would be so awsome. When I was, I think 3 or 4, I was able to participate in the gathering. That was so cool, especially for a 3 year old. If we could just find a way to get anyone and everyone out there who loves BSB. What is important though is getting SOMH to #1, because the single IS the promotion, so I think that requesting the single on every radio station that you can think of is important, if you can't do it by telephone, do it on-line. I'm lucky I do'nt have to pay to go on line, so I request the song on as many different radio stations as I can on-line and I do'nt even live is the USA. I have dedicated my screensaver at work to the boys..discreetly. I have a blue background with black lettering on the scroll marquee saying 'work stuff' no one knows what the colors mean to me its my secret.
